"In 1983, frustrated that high quality portable automatic traps were not made in America, our now company president set out to build one. He felt he wanted a machine that could withstand the weather, capable of launching a variety of targets across a wide elevation range, would be reliable, simple to work on and inexpensive to service. He soon set about developing his own and to his amazement there were other sportsmen with the same dilemma, thus The Hunters Pointe Corporation was born.

Nineteen years and numerous models later, the company has developed many components and features not available on other traps. We strive to use mostly American made components and highest quality materials. We continue to use state of the art engineering and machining including extensive laser machined parts and American made gearmotors. Our own Dura-Clutch™ is one of the strongest available anywhere. Our products have displayed their proven durability worldwide and are the exact machine our company president set out to develop almost 20 years ago."
